In your own words, what feels hardest about sleep right now?

For babies under 16 weeks, this plan is a newborn shaping plan. There is no sleep training in it. Instead, you get my newborn method: gentle practice in the crib or bassinet with you right there, lots of hands on support, feeds on demand around the clock, and a calm daily rhythm built on your baby's wake windows. This heavy support is right for these first weeks, and it is temporary: between 4 and 6 months, once your baby is ready, the plan shows you how the switch to true sleep independence works, so the help does not quietly become a habit your baby relies on.
